Activity was conducted in the school premises on the topic Medicinal Herbs-Nature’s Boon to us for class IV
students. Many activities were conducted regarding medicinal herbs (Basil, Mint,
Parsley, Rosemary and Peppermint). Before conducting the activity a PowerPoint
presentation was shown to through light on different facts about medicinal herbs. Further the activities
included a poster making activity for the students wherein they made the
different types of herbs.
The
most exciting activities for the students were crossword puzzle activity and
plantation. Students enthusiastically participated in the crossword puzzle
activity ant they enjoyed planting herbs in the school garden. Overall effect
of these activities on the students was that they learnt about uses and
importance of herbs in our daily life.
